Nirankar jo partakh dasse oh satgur kehlanda ey;
Satgur pa ke naam di berhi bhavjal paar laganda ey.
Satgur apne sikhan di khud aap hifazat karda ey;
Satgur apne sikhan utte mehar inayat karda ey.
Satgur apne sikhan de dil sheeshe wangun saaf kare;
Satgur apne sikhan de kul bhale bure nun maaf kare.
Satgur apne sikhan de sare hi bandhan torh daye;
Satgur apne sikhan de man vishyan vallon morh daye.
Satgur nun sikh pyare kul duniyan de jeeaan ton;
Satgur nun sikh pyare apne puttar dheeaan ton.
Satgur apne sikhan nun hi deen eeman samajhda ey;
Kahe avtar guru sikh taaee apni jaan samajhda ey.

He is the True Master who imparts the true perception of the Formless One- Nirankar;
The True Master makes one board the boat of Divine Name and thus cross the ocean of materialism.
The True Master himselfs provides protection to his disciples;
The True Master bestows his kind grace and benevolence upon his disciples.
The True Master purifies the hearts of his disciples like a mirror;
The True Master forgives the faults and failings of his disciples.
The True Master removes all the bondages of his disciples;
The True Master diverts the minds of his disciples from all kinds of passions.
The True Master loves his disciples more than all the people of the world;
The True Master loves his disciples more than his own sons and daughters.
The True Master treats his disciples as his trust and faith;
Avtar says, the True master treats his disciples as his own life breath.

Meaning
Only He who reveals the Formless One is the True Lord Master. The True Master makes us cross the vast ocean of birth and death in the vessel of God’s Name (His realization and remembrance). The True Master himself shields his disciples and bestows grace and benevolence upon them. The True Master cleanses the heart of his disciples like a clean mirror. The True Master forgives his disciple’s faults and failings. The True Master liberates his disciples from all the bondages and diverts their mind from all vices. The True Master loves his disciples more than anyone in the world, even more than his own sons and daughters. The True Master considers his disciples as His Integrity and trust. Avtar says, The True Master considers his disciples as his own life, and thus loves them as such.
